If you prefer more power to tackle bigger hills or to travel a longer distance under power, choose the Dual Mounted Motor Assembly Kit. The average speed for a 250 lb rider is up to 15 mph for bikes, and 10 mph for adult trikes. If you use your own power and pedal more, you can go farther. Total distance and range is dependent on terrain, rider input through pedaling, and rider weight. The fully-charged battery for the Single Mounted Motor Assembly will last approximately 15 miles on the bike, and 10-12 miles on the adult trike. The battery will last approximately 12 miles when used with the Dual Mounted Motor Assembly.
